About Me

My name is Jason Walters and I am a graduate of Liberty University's Center for Youth Ministry (May 2010).  I recently got married to the love of my life Alicia (January 2011) and God has been growing us so much.  It's amazing what you learn when you're a newlywed.  I am currently the Youth Pastor at Lewisburg Alliance Church and I have heart for students taught the authentic gospel lived out in an authentic No Limits lifestyle.  My life verse is Galatians 2:20, which says, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."  My calling in life is not to pursue selfish gain but to be 100% completely sold out to Christ in every facet of my life.  If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, then we have no choice but to follow him with everything that we have.  That is our calling and my calling is to challenge students to do the same.

I will tell you three quick things about my writing on this blog.  First, I am somewhat ADD so you may find my posts somewhat sporadic and jumpy at times but I promise that these tangents are not without reason and there will be a point in the end.  Second, I am very open, honest, and tend not to beat around the bush so hopefully you don't find my comments offensive, but in many ways the truth is offensive and I am not one to avoid truth for the sake of someone's feelings. Lastly, I will probably use a lot of football analogies because I played football and was an all-state football player in Virginia so hopefully you don't mind.  I pray that this is not only fun to read but also leaves you challenged when you're finished.

Place No Limits,
Jason
